Live Music

I've photographed live music since January of 1973. The first concert I photographed was Bob Dylan at Maple Leaf Gardens. A photo from that ended up on the cover of Blood on the Tracks.

I photographed live music for Now Magazine for almost 30 years. i've included several of examples of my "put a couple of photos together so there's no big blank space.'" technique. It started with sandwiching negatives, went on to torn collaged prints, and ended up in the digital domain.
